Audit Database

If Audit Database option is on, then every alteration of a record will be recorded into a separate database on your hard disk. Audit Database allows you to see when and who altered or inserted a pupil, a lesson or made any changes.

Prompt to make a backup on exit

Reminds you to backup your diary as you exit the software.

Log off before Screen Saver activated

Automatically logs off before the screen saver is activated.

Notify if battery power is low

Ignore this option if you are running ADI-diary on a desktop PC.

Play Sound

Many operations are confirmed by a particular sound. If you prefer, you can turn the sound off.

Open each list in the same window

Some commands (for example, pupils balance sheet) will open a window on top of your diary. If this option is off, each floating window is opened separately.

Allow new entries in Pickup lists

Some fields in your diary have a multiple choice list, eg. Car Model or Car Colour. If you enter a new Car Model it will automatically be inserted in the list for later use.

Reset Pickup lists on startup

Resets all pickup lists to factory settings.

Overwrite previous Export

If this option is off then a unique file name is assigned for every export.

Verbose Status

During data transfer session, displays detailed explanation of what is happening during the session.

Scroll grid by...

Specifies the number of lines that are scrolled for each notch that the mouse wheel is rotated.
