ADI-diary has three options to send e-mails.
All e-mails are formatted using templates stored in
C:\ADI diary 2010\Common Files\Configuration\Templates\Html\Emails Set1
Option 1
Opens built in SMTP client and allows you to preview and edit emails with optional images.
The built-in SMTP client generates an e-mail using one of your templates (provided with the program) and sends the e-mail to the SMTP server you have the account with. Then your e-mail service provider sends it further until it reaches the destination.
E-mail service providers (ESP) might have different settings. Please refer to your ESP for help of how to access their services.
Please note:
The ESP can refuse access to the services if the server suspects that you are spamming

Option 2
Opens an Outlook Express or Windows Mail and allows you to preview and edit emails
Option 3
Using Microsoft Office Outlook, which has 3 options
- Preview e-mail
- Save email in Inbox Outlook Folder
- Send e-mail immediately
Templates
The Template page is where you can view and edit templates for the e-mails which ADI-diary generates using your diary data.
