Every alteration in the diary is recorded by Audit, allowing you to see a history of what has been changed.
Along with Date, Time, User and Operation Type, the Audit saves the entire record.
This allows you to restore the diary at any point to its original state.
Audit also superceeds backup function.
Example scenario
- You are making regular backups every evening to save the day work
- Next morning you boot your computer and start to take phone calls
- In the afternoon you have power faliure and your computer is crashed
- You try to restore your diary from the backup but the lessons from this morning are not there, because you backed up the diary yersterday
The Audit function will not be affected by the scenario described above,
because it saves a mirror diary every time you make even a small alteration.
So, in the scenario above, if you restore your diary from the Audit,
the data will be restored up to the last record.
